With aims to intensively implementing the spiritual instructions by key leaders from both central government and state council to buildup our country into a port power with supporting construction of Shanghai International Shipping Centre, advancing technology-aided port and shipping development, China Ports and Harbours Association has decided to sponsor “the 12^th International Exhibition on Port, Shipping and Logistics” in Shanghai China from September 27 to 29, 2010. The initiative is fully supported by both Ministry of Transportation and IAPH and evidently regarded as a platform for port and shipping sectors, logistics providers, relevant equipment manufacturers and vendors for their business exchanges, mutual communication and benefits etc.

The event focuses on the theme of Technology progress – the soul of port and shipping industries” with a global marketing. the venue of the exhibition is placed at west wing of Shanghai Exhibition Center with 7000 plus square meters of showing space. The whole show-space is composed of three key categories, namely profile of port and shipping sectors, showcase of equipment for port and shipping business, and logistics facilities. In the period of the event, China Ports and Harbours Association is also to sponsor some professional conferences including International Port & Shipping Development Forum 2010, Seminar on New Technology of Port and Shipping Industries, and Seminar on Port IT.
